Hi, I’m Melissa 👋 a Northern Ireland wedding photographer with 15 years of experience photographing weddings across Northern Ireland and Ireland. For me, wedding photography isn’t about spending your whole day standing in front of a camera. It’s your wedding day, not a photoshoot. I want you to enjoy it. To be with your people, have a laugh, shed a few happy tears, dance badly, hug your grandparents and soak up all those little moments you probably won’t even realise are happening until you see them in your photographs. My approach is relaxed, fun and very much centred around the two of you. I’ll give you a little direction when you need it, but I’m mostly there to let the day unfold naturally and photograph all the good stuff as it happens. And I’m not just there with a camera. I’m often the unofficial bridesmaid, timeline keeper, dress fixer, buttonhole finder, family rounder upper and general wedding day hype girl! Whatever is needed to help you feel relaxed and enjoy yourselves, I’m there. The result? Photographs that feel like your wedding day, rather than a collection of awkward poses and staged moments. I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings over the past 15 years, so I know weddings rarely go exactly to plan. And honestly, that’s part of the fun. My job is to keep things calm, help you enjoy the day and make sure I’m in the right place to photograph the moments that matter.
