Congratulations on your engagement and now the buzz of planning your wedding!
I’m James and I’m a singer and guitarist based in Mid Ulster.
I’ve been performing at weddings since 2008 and covered almost two thousand weddings and events.
Singing at weddings means stepping into the middle of pure emotion. I arrive early, meet the coordinator, and learn how the room sounds before a single guest takes a seat. My goal is always the same: make the music feel personal to the couple, not like a playlist with a microphone.
Being a wedding singer is more than performing notes; it’s being trusted with the atmosphere of a couple’s most important day.
WHAT PACKAGES DO I OFFER?
CEREMONY: Pre-ceremony live music / personally arranged bridal entrance performance + more
DRINKS RECEPTION: Live and lively acoustic guitar and vocals covering so many styles and genres including pop/rock/country/Irish folk and much more
MEAL ENTERTAINMENT: Live ambient music performed during dinner including entrance introductions with music of your choice
EVENING RECEPTION: For the smaller or more intimate wedding vibe – usually paired with a DJ for the full entertainment package
PRE BAND/DJ: Foot stomping belters straight after the meal to set the tone for party vibes
DAY TWO PARTY: Continue your celebrations with family and friends with some food, drinks and acoustic tunes!

Perfect from start to finish – James understood the brief perfectly for our cereomny and drinks reception. All planning and communication beforehand was super easy, then on the day he gave use a masterclass in talent and professionalism. Got so many compliments afterwards! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ James was absolutely brilliant, and just the vibe we wanted for our ceremony and drinks reception. His voice, style, and song choices were perfect for us, and he sang exactly what I asked, even a little 2000’s curveball for the Groom, it created an atmosphere that felt personal to us. Our guests were raving about him, and we couldn’t be happier. Thank you, James, for entertaining our guests and making our day even more special.

We were lucky to have James perform at both our ceremony and drinks reception. We cannot recommend him enough. We booked James instantly after hearing him perform and a quick chat at a wedding fair. His voice, the vibe, captured exactly what we wanted. James covers every genre perfectly. We requested a song that wasn’t on his already extensive list for our entrance song and he delivered this perfectly. Guests are still commenting on our drinks reception Thanks to James for getting the party started- and for memories that will last forever!

We had booked James for our ceremony and drinks reception singer for our wedding in June 2025. Both myself and my Husband had heard him sing at our venues open day when we went to view back in 2023. My husband initially said he wanted James to sing at our wedding. James sang all the songs we requested for our ceremony with no issues to learn new songs for us. We had so many compliments from our guests about James too. We also have recommended James to others for their wedding. Thanks for being an important part of our special day. The McCleerys.

Hi James, just wanted to say a massive thank you for giving us the best music on our wedding day, from the service music right threw to the reception music and also singing in 28 degrees what a day we got, you kept all our guest entertained and relaxed whilst we got out photos taken, every single person was asking for your name as they enjoyed it so much we couldn’t of asked for better! James played at both our ceremony and drinks reception, and he was absolutely brilliant!! 🎶 So many of our guests are still commenting on how lovely the vibe was on the day. James went above and beyond to learn the songs we had chosen for our ceremony, which meant so much to us. He was such a pleasure to work with—so helpful and easy to chat with throughout the planning. We couldn’t recommend James enough for any occasion but especially a wedding. His communication is excellent leading up and then on the day itself it is just so good. We thought he was fantastic, but the huge thing has been how many of our guests have mentioned the music in the church and lobby of the Shandon Hotel. James created a wonderful atmosphere for our church and reception music and the feedback from our guests on that especially has been amazing. He could easily charge much more for the quality he delivers. Thanks again James for making our day the best it could be. We wouldn’t change a thing

James played at our drinks reception and created the perfect atmosphere, relaxed, joyful and full of life. As a musician myself, finding someone genuinely talented for that part of the day was a high priority, and James absolutely delivered. His voice is effortless and incredible, and we had so many guests comment on how much they loved the music. He was a dream to work with from start to finish! 🎶✨

James was very flexible and easy to plan with in the weeks leading up to our wedding. He is an extremely talented musician who played beautiful acoustic guitar and lovely singing at our ceremony and our drinks reception. And I say that as someone who teaches at a music school in New York City. It felt so sweet and special walking down the aisle to his gorgeous music, as he played oldies songs that my family, my husband and I all love. And his music at our drinks reception was lively and really enjoyed by all guests, who raved about how good James was. I couldn’t recommend him more!! 😊
