Why I Don’t Promise That Your Child Will Behave at Your Wedding 🤍

Let me start by saying something that might sound strange coming from a wedding nanny…

I can’t promise your child will behave at your wedding 😂

And honestly? I wouldn’t want to because children are children!

I can have the activities planned, the toys ready and everything set up and your toddler can still decide that today is the day they refuse to do anything I suggest 😂

Your little one might suddenly need Mummy, refuse their dinner, get overwhelmed by all the people or have a full-blown meltdown over the wrong colour cup.

That’s real life with children 💛 

And that’s why having a wedding nanny isn’t about making sure your children behave perfectly all day.

It’s about having someone there who gets it.

Someone who can distract them when they’re restless, take them for some fresh air when things get too much, help with snacks, meals, toilet trips, naps, cuddles and all those little things that somehow become a BIG thing at a wedding.

Because you can plan your wedding down to the tiniest detail…

but you can’t plan a toddler. 😂

What I can do is make sure your little ones are cared for, included and happy while giving you the freedom to actually enjoy your wedding day.

You shouldn’t have to miss your ceremony because someone needs the toilet, leave your photographs because someone is upset or spend your evening constantly checking what the children are doing.

I can’t promise they’ll behave.

But I can promise they’ll have someone there who understands them, cares for them and is ready for whatever the day throws at us.

And honestly?
