Welcome to Wedding Help Wedding Vendor

Wedding Help Northern Ireland is a platform to help advertise your business to the wedding industry. It is the largest wedding community in Northern Ireland. We have over 350 different wedding suppliers signed up with us and they cover over 500 different options across 45 different services on our website. There is enough options and choice for every bride and groom. If you need help and advice there is no better place.
We only approve professional, reliable suppliers on to our platforms so that Brides and Grooms get a reliable, quality service.
As a vendor, our aim is to help you maximise your exposure on our platforms and you can do that in the following ways….
A strong profile on our website www.weddinghelpni.com
Your logo, a description of your business, contact details, your website address, good quality pictures and videos.
Our website averages between 50-200 visitors every day. We have allowed a backlink to your website to drive potential customers to your website if you provide it to us. It is important to have a good website profile that stands out with good, quality content. If you are signed up with us and do not have a website profile, we highly recommend you sending us your marketing material to maximise this exposure for your business.
Consistent activity in our Facebook group
https://www.facebook.com/groups/weddinghelpni
If you haven’t already, make sure you have joined our Facebook group on the link above. There is over 25k members in the group. We did a massive clear out last year, removing thousands of accounts that were no longer relevant. This means a very high percentage of these members are now shopping for their upcoming wedding.
We still approve around 150-200 new members every week. We are very strict about who comes in to our group so again, a large percentage of these new members are brides and grooms looking for wedding suppliers and advice.
It is important to stay active in the group to these new members.
We advise sharing posts between 4 and 7 times a week and commenting under posts looking your services from your business pages. Ideas of what to share
Content from a wedding you just completed
An offer you have on
A list of your services
A review you just received
An event you will be attending or organising
When commenting under posts make sure to share engaging content. Writing your name with no link to your work in my opinion, doesn’t work. Comment from your business page and share a video or picture of your work that attracts the customer to you. There used to be 200 comments under every post in the group, this has been dramatically reduced, but you still need to stand out and attract the customer to your business.
The Facebook group gets on average 10000 viewers every day. Yes, you heard that right, 10000 viewers every day. We approve anywhere between 70-200 posts per day. These are potential customers looking for services. If you compare this to what you would meet at wedding fairs, it is really high exposure. Brides and Grooms want to find you so it is important to stay active and consistently active with quality content so they can.
(As we have provided a backlink to your website, and you will be advertising in our Facebook group, customers will come to you direct, it is important to ask customers where they found you so you can keep an eye on how well the platforms work for you.)
Suppliers Group
https://www.facebook.com/groups/708063231228420
The suppliers group is for networking with our other approved suppliers. You may need help or advice at some point. This is where you can do that. It is also a place where we will share some information so it is important to be a member of this group also. Click the link above to join if you haven’t already. This group is for suppliers of our group only. Do not add anyone who is not a Wedding Help Supplier and please don’t advertise in this group.
Make sure to follow us on Instagram on the link above. We follow all our suppliers back. You can feel free to tag us in any posts or reels you do as a collaborator and we will accept. This means your post shows up on our feed. You can also tag us in your Instagram stories and we will share on ours. We try to go down our feed once or twice a day and share your posts but due to algorithms we may only see certain suppliers and keep missing others, so it is better if you tag us in anything you want us to share. There are some things we won’t share ie the quality of the content is poor or it is a post that conflicts with our business in some way.

TikTok
Link to the Wedding Help TikTok. Again feel free to follow and we will reciprocate.
We are most active on Facebook and Instagram but we will try to grow on all the above platforms. Not enough hours in the day for all social media platforms, but we will try!
Other options available to our approved suppliers is our Wedding Fairs. We try to organise as many of these as possible at the venues who are on our website. Venues who have signed up with us and are interested in having us organise a fair, please feel free to get in touch. We put an email out to venues yearly asking them do they want to avail of this option. We are still in our first year of doing wedding fairs so we are watching to see what works and what doesn’t work ie time of the year, day of the week etc but the fairs we have done so far have been largely successful with crowds coming through the doors.
Wedding fairs are also a great chance for suppliers to network amongst themselves so we would encourage you to try and get booked in for some. You get one free wedding fair with your membership and then after that discounted rates of £100 for the second, £75 for the third.
Wedding Fairs are a great way of getting to meet clients from our group face to face and using your personal skills to gain bookings.
Wedding Fair places are on a first come first served basis.
We are looking into the possibility of doing larger wedding fair events in the future.
Other options available to you include using our website for Blogs and Virtual Wedding Fairs. If you have a message you want to get out there, a question you see coming up time and time again on our group, feel free to write a blog about it and we can share it on our website. When the topic comes up we can direct them to the blog. Some questions in the group can frustrate suppliers because the answer seems obvious or the question has been answered before but brides and grooms usually only get married once and may have just joined the group, so they don’t know the answer and aren’t aware it has been asked before. A blog can help with this and help advertise your business in the process and on top of that, attract them to the website. So win win win for customer, supplier and us.
If you can’t attend the wedding fairs we offer, why not do a video of one and put it on your profile on our website. Set up a stall in your place of business, home or office and make a video saying exactly what you would say at a wedding fair and showing exactly what you would show. A virtual wedding fair you can direct people to anytime you want. You could record this at a wedding fair you are doing in the near future. Upload it to Youtube and send us the link and we will add it to your profile on our website.
Awards Ceremony
Our awards ceremony will help raise the profile of your business and the community as a whole. We are doing it a bit differently with two awards to be won, A Public Vote Award and A Suppliers Vote Award. This is our first year doing this so we will learn and improve each year. The awards are for our community only. After a long hard year of weddings it will be a great night to unwind, meet up with other suppliers and maybe pick up an award in the process. The competition for our awards is very high so losing out is no reason to be disappointed at all. The winners will be wedding industry professionals who are out their working week in week out and no doubt will fully deserve their award. We encourage suppliers to be positive and support each other not just at the awards but all year round on our community. As organisers we will make sure the awards are fair, and that everyone has a great night out.
Every business will have the opportunity to help raise their own profile by attending the awards, sponsoring awards and using the social media exposure of it all to enhance their own reputation in the wedding industry. It is the only awards ceremony in Northern Ireland to be run by Wedding Suppliers so we understand what suppliers want from awards and we aim to deliver that.
All of the above is advice and guidance on what you should do to maximise your exposure on our platforms. We can only help so much, you as a supplier needs to take onboard this advice and stay active. If you are not getting much results after following all of the above then we recommend changing your marketing material ie photos and videos and maybe taking a look at your service as a whole. We hear some real success stories from our suppliers. People who have given up their day jobs to work full time at weddings because of the group. People who have come from the other side of the world and trying to support their families multiplying their bookings by five times what they had before they signed up. So the platform works and the bookings are there. It is the largest Wedding Help Community in the country and there is plenty of Brides and Grooms to attract to your business. But you need to use the platform well. The success stories above, they do exactly that.
Thanks to all our suppliers for their support. It is you who makes this community great.
