About Treasure Box Photography
Hi, I’m Eamonn — the face behind Treasure Box Photography, a Northern Ireland wedding photographer based in Carrickfergus (just outside Belfast) and originally from Donegal. I’m lucky enough to spend my days travelling across NI and Ireland photographing weddings for couples who want real moments, real laughs, and zero awkward posing.
My style is relaxed, documentary, and people-focused. I blend in, keep things easy, and let the day unfold naturally — capturing the hugs, the chaos, the happy tears, and everything in between. Most couples tell me it never feels like they’re being photographed… which is exactly the point.
When the light drops and the party kicks off, I like to bring a bit of creative magic. Using off-camera flash, I create bold, cinematic evening portraits that feel fun, effortless, and a little bit special — without dragging you away from your guests for ages.
At home, life is full-on: I’m married to Colleen, we’ve twin boys, and a cockapoo called Zappa who has zero chill. So staying calm, organised, and good-humoured under pressure is second nature — handy skills on a wedding day.

Eamonn was great through the whole process, he helped us with organising the logictics with how the morning would work. We had a small wedding in city hall so he helped us with recommendations of getting in and around town. He knew the area great and got some amazing shots around city hall. Can't recommend him enough, everyone thought he was great craic and the photos turned out amazing. We ordered a book and prints which came very quickly after ordering and high quality. Thank you again Eamonn!!

amonn recently did our wedding photography and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! He is so experienced, relaxed and funny! The photos are even better than we could have imagined, he got such natural pictures which was exactly what we wanted. We aren’t big fans of having our picture taken but Eamonn made us feel so at ease! He had great ideas, especially with the limited daylight at our Winter Wedding. Eamonn did an amazing job as our photographer for our wedding. He is such a lovely guy, who took time to meet us and discuss about the wedding party what kind of style we like and all about us so the photos we got on the day were so natural. Couldn't recommend him enough!

We had Eamonn as our photographer for our wedding, and he was thee best!! Made us all feel so relaxed and comfortable, but while still having a laugh. Photos turned out amazing and something we will cherish forever. Would 100% recommend him to anyone!

Absolutely fantastic, as people who hate the thought of photos Eamonn has a great personality and put us at ease throughout the day, taking fantastic pictures very efficient and professional capturing some beautiful moments of our wedding day, even got sneak peek at some of our photos the day after our wedding, some beautiful memories captured to perfection, all guests praising how good was during the wedding, highly highly highly recommend, photos are the best capture amazing detail love them

We chose Eamonn to capture our day having seen his work online and he did not disappoint!! I genuinely can't believe that there are now photographs in existence of me that I don't hate 😂 We just wanted to say a final thank to Eamonn for everything! He was an absolute pleasure to work with. From the first contact right through to delivery of the album he was amazing. He truly captured our day from start to finish and made us feel at ease during what is probably the most unnatural setting there is! We would both recommend Treasurebox in a heartbeat.

Eamonn is a superb photographer and he took so many beautiful - and creative! - photos that really captured the happiness and fun of our wedding day. So many people have commented on the quality of the photos and I cannot recommend him highly enough. We were blown away by what he captured for us, particularly as the day flew in so it lovely to have so many great shots from all aspects of the day to remember it by. Also he is just the most relaxed company and so lovely to hang out with for the day! Thanks again Eamonn for doing such a wonderful job.

As two people who don’t usually enjoy having our photo taken, we were surprised by just how fun and relaxed the experience was with Eamonn. From the very start, he made us feel comfortable and at ease, expertly guiding us from shot to shot. He knew exactly where to go for the best locations at our venue and how to make the most of the winter sun, taking away any stress or anxiety about capturing the day. We were delighted to receive a generous selection of sneak-peek photos just days after the wedding, with the full gallery following soon after. Eamonn captured our day more beautifully than we could have imagined and was wonderfully patient when we were eager to return to our guests, gently encouraging us to take a few extra shots that we now treasure. We couldn’t recommend Eamonn highly enough — he was the perfect photographer for our wedding day and went above and beyond.

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding photographer. Eamon was incredibly professional from start to finish, calm, organised, and completely unobtrusive on the day. We were very clear that we didn’t want lots of staged or overly posed photos, we wanted natural, candid moments that really captured the atmosphere.. and he absolutely delivered. The photos feel genuine, emotional, and beautifully spontaneous. He somehow managed to be everywhere at once without ever being intrusive, and the “in-between” moments he captured are some of our favourites. The final images are stunning creative, flattering, and full of life. We’re so grateful for how perfectly he understood what we wanted and for giving us memories we’ll treasure forever. Eamonn, Owner of Treasure Box Photography, is by far the most talented, kind, creative and professional photographer! Having first met him when myself and my now husband were bridal party of our best friends wedding. We were blown away at how fun, considerate and creative he was as a photographer. He is so good with people too! Fast forward a year and myself and Dale got engaged! We knew instantly we wanted Eamonn! So we booked him in straight away! We cannot recommend him high enough! Then on our wedding day Eamonn captured all of the most special and treasured memories. His creative flare shines so bright and we couldn’t have had better! We were so taken back and over the moon with all of our wedding photos! We both hate having our photo taken and honestly weren’t expecting to overly like our wedding photos, but we genuinely love them all 🥰 I can’t wait to hang some (too many) in our home, the trouble is figuring out which ones to pick!! I am so glad we went with Eamonn, he was lovely and put us both at ease throughout the day. He captured so many beautiful, natural moments that have given us memories for a life time! I honestly cannot recommend Treasure Box Photography enough! Eamonn was so personable, fun, & made the experience one to remember! We had a laugh doing some of the poses but the photos, as silly as we felt doing wobbly walks, turned out stunning! He captures EVERY moment...sweet ones, candid ones, fun ones, & magical ones! If you're looking for a photographer who captures the moments that matter & turns a simple sunset into a breathtaking backdrop...this is honestly the best photographer for the job! We are forever grateful for your kindness & for capturing our most special day in such a fun & unique way!

I could not recommend Eamonn enough! So much attention to detail, dedication and love for his job. Our entire day was captured so perfectly and he's up for some fun and funky shots if that's your vibe too! Communication was great, we had a face time a bit before to make sure we understood how it was all going to go. We received our taster (when I say taster, we got over 100 photos) two days after the wedding and our full gallery in less than two weeks. Such amazing world and beautiful shots. We even got to have our wee doggy involved. We now have over 1300 photos to choose from and want them all because they are so gorgeous. Choose treasurebox. Really reasonable pricing too. We had guests over from England who asked if he could come over and capture their day!
