Sarah McVeigh Singer and Harpist

Sarah is an award-winning singer and harpist based in County Down. She performs across many musical styles, including Traditional Irish, Folk, Country, Soft Rock, Pop, Disney and more. She can adapt her playlist to suit your preferences and is happy to learn songs for your wedding day.

Her passion for music began at an early age. She later studied the subject to degree level, graduating with First Class Honours in live performance. She also trained in voice with the Associated Board of Music in London, achieving Distinction.

Sarah is a multi-award-winning musician at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, holding several Ulster and Down titles in solo harp and Sean-nós singing. She has also won multiple Scór na nÓg solo singing titles and twice secured the All-Ireland Ballad Group title. In 2023, she was a finalist in both the Northern Ireland Wedding Awards and the Best Wedding Singer NI Wedding Awards.

Alongside weddings, Sarah performs in hotels, restaurants and pubs throughout Northern Ireland.

She also performs as a two-piece with a guitarist-singer or saxophonist and is the lead singer of the wedding function band Funk ’N’ Disorderly, who are available for after-dinner entertainment.
