Kooskoos is an award-winning Belfast-based band built around feel, not just function. We focus on creating the right atmosphere at the right moment, whether that’s something stripped-back and intimate, or a packed dancefloor that doesn’t want the night to end.

Our sound sits somewhere between, pop, rock, jazz, funk, soul and the songs everyone forgot they loved (they grew up on the Pokémon theme, omg) the kind that get a reaction within the first few notes. It’s familiar without being predictable, polished without feeling over-produced, and always shaped around the room rather than a fixed setlist.

We offer a complete, start-to-finish service across the day. That might look like a relaxed live duo for your ceremony, a laid-back jazz set for drinks, a full band for the evening, and a DJ, or DJ & sax combination to carry things into the night. Everything is handled in-house, including sound, lighting, and coordination, so the day flows naturally without constant changeovers or handovers.

We don’t treat weddings like a checklist of performances. It’s one continuous experience, built to feel effortless, sound great, and leave people talking about the music long after the last song.
