Kim is a wizard when it comes to curls. She understands curly hair like no other. But it’s not just about washing/cutting/colouring/styling curls, it’s the personal touch that Kim gives every time that makes her so unique and wonderful. She is an absolute superstar and because of Kim I love my curls.

Kim is an absolute champion for curly haired Brides and having her on my team for my wedding was amazing. She is so positive about working with your natural curls that she can help you to fall in love with your hair, a big thing after years of feeling frizzy and unkempt. I wanted to look like “me on my best day” for my wedding and Kim was a huge part of making that come true. Couldn’t recommend her enough!

Kim is truly the queen of curls. She was nothing but amazing from the moment I booked her for my wedding. The knowledge, skill and genuine passion she has for what she does is incredible. The attention to detail, care and also just the additional help with getting our dresses on etc was unbelievable. Kim really did make my morning such a dream, I was tearing up at just how much she went above and beyond, to help make my day perfect. All my family and friends were in awe of my hair, I’m so glad Kim could give my curls their full potential. Kim is the loveliest soul and I am beyond grateful to have had her for my big day.

From the minute I stepped into Kim’s salon, I felt at ease. After a minute of talking, I felt as though I’d known her for years. Kim’s expertise with curly hair is incredible. Used to dread going to the hairdressers because it would never be what i wanted it to be. Now I’ve never felt better about my hair. 100/10.

I was nervous about how to style my curly hair on my wedding day as I wanted to feel like me. When I searched for a curl hair specialist Kim popped up in my search & I was delighted to see that she also did curly brides. I reached out to Kim at the very start of my wedding planning process for an exploratory call. Instantly we clicked over our shared love for leopard print and curly hair. Kim’s enthusiasm for curly hair and for brides to embrace their natural curly hair on their wedding day was evident from the very start! I discussed my plans with Kim that while I had planned a bigger wedding celebration in Kilkenny that I planned to elope in Northern Ireland. Kim thankfully agreed to style my curly hair for both wedding celebrations. Instantly I felt at ease as I knew my curls were in good hands! In the lead up to the Northern Ireland wedding, I travelled for a curly cut which is something that I look forward to now and have another cut planned post-honeymoon. For my elopement, Kim washed my hair the night before, this ensured the morning of my elopement was very relaxed. Kim helped me into my dress and styled my hair which made me feel like a million dollars! I was delighted with my hair and despite a bit of wind & rain on the day my hair was still perfect!!! Fast forward to the Kilkenny wedding celebration, I booked the divine curls experience. In the lead up to this wedding celebration I was unsure how to style my hair to suit my dress. I did a trial with Kim in advance and honestly the trial really helped me visualise how my curls would look on my wedding day. Just like the elopement, Kim washed my hair the night before. This put me at ease as I knew my wedding hair would look amazing on the wedding day & it really did! Kim was there first thing on my wedding morning. She is a bubbly ball of energy and I think any curly bride would be lucky to have her there with them on their wedding day/morning! Kim took some behind the scenes pics and videos of my first look with my husband which were brilliant to see in the days after. She kept me calm when I was stressing when my family were running late getting ready. She honestly is worth her weight in gold & I’m very thankful she was there with me on my wedding morning. I loved my curly upstyle, my mum and 3 sisters hair all looked amazing too! Kim stayed with me right up to walking up the aisle. While I sadly don’t have any more weddings 😂, I look forward to my travels to Belfast for my curly cuts to keep them looking amazing! Things always turn out for the best. A few months before my wedding, the hairdresser i booked pulled out and Kim stepped in at short notice and I’m so glad she did! She is such a font of knowledge on curls. I don’t have curly hair but I wanted to go curlier on the day, and I’m so happy with what Kim created for me. She used the rehearsal to experiment with different styles, and then we were able to what I liked and what to adjust. On the wedding morning she was so good at keeping the mood light and fun, and really helped this older, nervous bride get her confidence. She even drove me to the venue, came with me and my bridesmaids to the ceremony, made sure my hair was perfect and floofed my train before I went in! I honestly could not have asked for anything more.

My friend booked Kim for her wedding in March and she couldn’t have made a better choice! She did such a good job with the curly girls hair tho that didn’t stop her with the straight hair styles either. Not only did all our hair look fantastic, Kim made sure everything else ran so smoothly and was on hand to help with whatever she could! Would recommend to anyone getting married to go with Kim she was fantastic !

Kim is the best of the best! I hired Kim to be the hairstylist for my elopement in Northern Ireland (we traveled from Ohio), and from beginning to end, she made the experience everything I could have hoped for and more! From our very first phone call, she took the time to thoughtfully explain her process and share recommendations for products she loves. Then, at my trial run, I finally got to meet her in person, and she genuinely wanted to hear all of my thoughts and ideas for my hair, and our trial was just so much fun as we chatted away! By the time our wedding day arrived, I knew I was in great hands. The style Kim created for me was absolutely perfect! I was truly blown away by how precisely she brought my vision to life. It was everything I had imagined and more. She also styled the hair for my mother, mother-in-law, and two friends, and they all looked absolutely beautiful. Our wedding day ended up being a whirlwind of weather, with rain, sleet and sun all within our 30-minute ceremony. Despite it all, my hair held up flawlessly!! Beyond her incredible talent, Kim made the entire morning so much fun. She brought such a warm, upbeat energy to the day. She has a way of making everyone feel comfortable and cared for, and it felt like having a friend in the room rather than someone we’d only recently met. If I lived in Northern Ireland, I would trust no one else with my hair. I wish I could book appointments with her all the time just to have her work her magic on my curls again! Kim was absolutely fantastic!! I don’t even know if I can put into words how amazing she really was. From the first meeting we had (which was nearly 2 years ago) when I initially booked her. To the trail where she spends so much time getting to know you and finding out what you want, to the morning of the wedding. We all had a real chilled morning with good vibes and Kim just adds to that positive vibes with her amazing and funny energy. Everything went so smoothly with even plenty of time to spare. Everyone was so pleased with how their hair turned out and Kim did not just do your hair then leave. She helped out in any way she could. Even with the little 6 month old baby we had with us on the morning of the wedding. Any questions or anything she could do to help, she did. She was with us right up until the ceremony making sure everyone’s hair was still in place right before going down the aisle. If you need a morning where someone can keep you calm but also have a positive energy and bring such bubbly vibes along with having the most perfect hair – I highly HIGHLY recommend Kim!! Kim was my bridal hair stylist in May 2026. I can’t express enough how helpful and supportive she was on the day – she really went above and beyond to make sure the morning ran smoothly. Kim also created gorgeous looks for me and my bridesmaids! I fully recommend Kim for wedding hair.

I loved my hair and how it turned out – it was exactly what i wanted! It lasted the whole day and even though the curls did fall slightly – it still looked well and there was no issues. Everything was perfect and exactly what i am looking for on my wedding day. I cant thank you enough and look forward having you on the morning of my wedding as you are chill and laid back which is what we will all need! Lol but still take your role seriously and ensure your bride gets exactly what they want 🙂

I booked the curly queen package with Kim, and I don’t even know how to start with how amazing my hair was, never mind everything else that comes with booking Kim: she is simply the best at what she does. From the beginning, Kim was constantly giving me ideas for my hair for my day, as well as helping keep me calm about timings for my wedding day and being ready on time. On the day, Kim went over and above. From setting the tone with music, making sure I was comfortable, and handling people coming into and out of the bridal suite as and when was needed for their hair getting done. My hair – well where do I start. I felt like an absolute princess. I hired extensions on Kim’s advice and I’m so glad I did. I could not have imagined my hair looking as perfect for my wedding day. The curls stayed the whole day, and even into the next day for breakfast. If you are looking for a bridal hairstylist, look no further. Kim – thank you so much for making my day so special!! You were so chill and cool whilst also being super professional and bringing ALL the knowledge around curly hair. I was anxious to find someone who knew how to work with my hair and boy, did I! The bridesmaids were so happy with their hair as well and loved having the absolute craic with you. I loved my hair, nothing was a problem and I actually left it in for a few days and it still was perfect! Not only was Kim amazing on my wedding day but in the lead up I had her complete support and guidance. I wanted my hair dyed pink and she made this happen with care and precision. I’m naturally brunette and have never seen it so bright! I’ve also never had so many compliments on it either! On the wedding day she was so much more than a hair stylist, she was like a reassuring friend and ensured I was calm and relaxed in the morning, helped me into my shoes and my dress. Her dedication to making me feel most like me on my wedding day was EVERYTHING! Get her booked, you won’t regret it.

Kim Alexandra Hair was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding day. We met Kim at a Wedding fair in the Clayton hotel 18 months before our wedding. Her personality, her knowledge, reassurances and wonderful nature made her the first vendor we booked for our wedding day. I booked her Ultimate Curly Queen Bridal Package, and ultimate is the only word to describe it! Kim is so much more than just a wedding hairdresser. In the run up to the wedding she was there to support us, she recommended most of our suppliers to us, she liaised with them, arranged things to help make even our planning process so much less stressful. Kim lives and breathes curls, but also weddings and her knowledge, experience and professionalism are second to none. We would have been totally lost without her. From prepping my hair in the run up to the day, keeping me calm and taking away so much stress before the wedding, arranging and corralling bridesmaids, and family. Reminding me it was my wedding day and being there for anything we needed on the day, she was an absolute star and I also wouldn’t have gotten through the day without her. She is a shining star that my family and bridal party absolutely adored and was the most integral part of the day, bringing us all together.
