About Jervis Wedding Photography
Hi, I’m Paul Jervis, a wedding photographer based in Ballyclare, near Belfast, and I’ve been photographing weddings for more than 18 years. Together with my wife Judith, I’ve built Jervis Wedding Photography around a simple idea: your wedding should be enjoyed, not turned into a photoshoot.
I’m passionate about capturing the heart of your day and creating memories you can treasure for years to come. I believe you should not only remember what happened on your wedding day, but also how you felt.
My approach is relaxed, natural and unobtrusive. I’ll offer gentle guidance when you need it, step into the background when you don’t, and create an atmosphere where you can simply be yourselves. Every couple is different, so I don’t believe in putting you through a set routine or poses that feel uncomfortable. Instead, I take the time to understand what matters to you and capture the people, emotions and moments that make your wedding yours.
Judith, my wife can also join me as a second photographer, subject to availability. This gives couples the option of having an additional perspective and even more moments captured throughout their day.
I’m based in Ballyclare, near Belfast, and photograph weddings throughout Northern Ireland, the border counties of Ireland and further afield.
I’m not there to create my next marketing material. I’m there to create your memories.

Paul and Judith were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They captured our wedding day exactly as we dreamed and made us feel so comfortable, despite neither of us being natural in front of a camera. We were blown away by the photos they managed to capture and love how they perfectly reflect the emotion and joy of the day. I found Paul and Judith at a wedding fair. When i started talking to them, there was something that just made me feel so at ease. I felt heard when i explained what i was looking for and nothing was ever a problem it was always, its your day, we work with you. They were very relaxed and not pushy and just so down to earth. They are super friendly and just the best couple too have at your wedding to capture those special moments. They met with us before the wedding, spoke about photos we wanted and a list of who we wanted pictures with. Then on the day, judith went and rounded people up so we could just relax and enjoy our day. We booked the biggest package and it was everything we expected and more. On the day of the wedding they were perfect, it was all on us, at our pace and they helped with everything, from putting in button holes, to helping with earings and necklaces, to helping fix my wedding dress when part broke off, to then making sure the kids were okay and entertaining them. Honestly they made our day super special and if i was to do it all again i would have them again. I also got judith to do my newborn shots of our daughter after our wedding too. Nothing was ever too much for them. They are the dream team and id recommend them over and over again. If you book them you wont be disappointed i promise.
