My name is Amy Reid, and I am a wife, a dog-mum and a very happy Humanist Celebrant in Northern Ireland!
I get it, I was a bride in 2022, so I know exactly what you’re going through! And as a proud member of the Humanist Society NI, I can offer you a ceremony that is legal, fun, unique and completely personal to your relationship. It can take place pretty much anywhere, at any time, on any day. With the right balance of emotion and humour, we can include your favourite people and any special elements you would like to add – feel free to ask me about these – so your ceremony truly reflects YOU!
And don’t worry, I’ll guide you through the full process, so it’s seamless and enjoyable. Together, we can create something far more meaningful than “the legal bit”… Together we can create something filled with love, laughter and memories, that you and your guests can cherish forever…

When it came to planning our wedding, so much of our decisions came from gut instinct, even if that meant booking the first place we visited or person we met. And that was 100% the case with Amy. We met for a chat over a coffee and from the get-go she was so easy to talk too. Nothing was too much, everything was explained in a simple manner and the craic was ninety! We hadn’t planned on it, but by the end of the coffee, one look between my wife-to-be and I had us deciding to book Amy then and there, we just knew she was for us! Every part of the process was simple. Any questions we had were answered and any changes (as few as they were) never posed a problem. Our script was perfect. Amy knew exactly what we wanted and perfectly balanced everything we wanted. Humour alongside loving, fun and touching. We got so many compliments about how personal the whole thing was and how wonderful of a celebrant Amy was leading the ceremony, and we couldn’t agree more. She captured the vibe perfectly, had everyone laughing, kept things moving and just made the ceremony everything we wanted. If you want a celebrant who makes you feel more like a friend than a client, then Amy is the woman for you. Kind, caring, funny and incredible at what she does, we love her to bits and could not recommend her more! 🩷🧡💛
